Isaac's First Baby Food

I took so many pictures of this little meal that I thought that I would make a slide show of the event. Since the slideshow program that I have been using takes forever to upload photos, I decided to try something new. I really like the Smilebox program. It is quick, easy, and comes with a lot of templates. The only problems are, the text is hidden up at the top, I can't figure out how to speed up the transitions between slides, and most importantly, it does not play in the blog. If you want to watch it you have to click and open a new window to view it.

I'll probabbly switch programs next time. If you do watch it, I think you'll get a kick out of the faces he made when he got his first few tastes of baby oatmeal.

We loved the pictures. All of the gagging had us laughing out loud.

Here is a tip for working with RockYou slideshows. If your photo editing program has a "Save for Web" feature, you can use it on just the pictures you are going to upload and it makes the files much smaller, thus they take a lot less time to upload.

Thanks - that was almost as good as being there. That did look a little thick for the beginning attempts, but it looks like he figured it out!

Owen and I were laughing so hard, then he wanted to watch it again and again. Isaac is so cute, I can't believe he is already 6monthes old. Precious boy!

These pictures are great - I love watching babies eating their first "real" meal (if you can call rice cereal a real meal) they might be gagging and sputtering all over the place but always come back for more and watch out if you stop feeding them. Very fun - like your mom said - it was almost as good as being there.

I wish Isaac and Trevor could hang out together. I think they would enjoy exchanging opinions on rice cereal. Trevor has taken to spitting it all over me as soon as it goes in his mouth. Not fun! I guess that's his way of saying he doesn't like it. Of course Trevor thinks it's funny because Brandon laughs at him. They are already teaming up on me!

Awesome, you guys have a blog. Wasn't Isaac downing a burrito at Chipotle a while back? My memory is not so good.

He is still a Chipotle burrito Padawan. His Chipotle Jedi father eats enough for both of them.

Love the pictures. Charlie makes some great faces, too, when we give him certain foods, although we're never on the ball enough to get pictures of them.
